Keep It Together (2005) – Sculptural video installation

Description:
This installation is a human-sized stack of cinderblocks with a disembodied black-and-white monitor placed at hand level inside the tower. A 22-minute video loop begins with the destruction of a single cinderblock using audio to attract the viewer. The demolition is then followed by a long attempt to reconstruct the cinderblock. The piece echoes themes of absurdity, the creation and destruction cycle and reflections of architecture.
